Double opt-in, and a log that only grows.

Double opt-in, always.

A reader signs up on your hosted page or an embed and gets a mail with a confirmation link. Only after the click are they an active reader. The signup, the confirmation and every later change are written to a consent log that is only ever added to.

  • Pending until the link is clicked
  • A consent log that is never edited
  • One-click unsubscribe in every issue

Imports with a promise.

You can import a CSV of readers. The import screen asks you to state, in its own words, that every person agreed, and where and when. We keep that statement. Addresses that unsubscribed, bounced or complained are never imported again, and imported readers in Germany and Austria get no real send until they confirm again.

  • Attested import
  • Suppressed addresses stay out
  • Reconfirmation for DE and AT
