# Lists

> A Geenius Newsletter list is one language and one rhythm of a publication. Readers can be on several. Archiving a list deletes nothing.

A list is one language and one rhythm inside a publication.

## Make one

Name it, pick a language that the publication already uses, and pick how often it is mailed: daily, weekly, monthly or irregular. You can add a short description. The name may be at most 80 characters.

The first list is the default. The signup page pre-selects it. You can make another list the default later.

## Who is on it

A reader can be on none, one or several lists of the publication. An issue goes to the lists you name on that issue.

You can rename a list, change its rhythm, or clear its description. Taking a list out of use archives it. Readers stay. Nothing is deleted. You can bring the list back.

> [!NOTE]
> Newsletter is in early access. Sending to real inboxes is not switched on yet, so a list does not receive a real issue until that changes.
