# Import and export

> Import readers into Geenius Newsletter from a CSV with a consent statement, and take them with you with a signed one-time export.

## Import

Upload a CSV. The import screen asks you to state, in its words, that every person agreed to get this newsletter, and where and on which day. We keep that statement with your name and the time.

- Addresses that unsubscribed, were erased, bounced or complained are never imported again.
- Imported readers in Germany and Austria get no real send until they confirm again by link.
- A new workspace has lower import and sending limits in its first 14 days.

## Export

A signed one-time export gives you your readers. It is your list.
