This page takes you from an empty workspace to a scheduled issue.

> [!NOTE]
> Newsletter is in early access: invite-only, payments in test mode, and sending to real inboxes is not switched on yet. Sends run in test mode, so no mail leaves the app.

## 1. Sign in

Early access is invite-only. When you have a place, sign in on the app with your account.

## 2. Create a publication

A publication is one newsletter: its name, its languages, its lists and its sending domain. Pro has one publication, Premium three and Max ten.

## 3. Gather readers

Share the hosted signup page or put an embed on your website. Every reader confirms by double opt-in before they get anything. You can also [import a list](/docs/import-and-export/) with a statement that everyone agreed.

## 4. Write and test

Start a draft from the template, write, and preview it. Send a test to your own address.

## 5. Approve and schedule

Approve the issue for its audience, then pick a time. During early access the send runs in test mode.

## 6. Watch what happened

After the send, the issue shows what was sent, how many mails bounced and how many readers complained. A bounced or complained address is suppressed. If complaints pass 0.1 % of a send, the send pauses itself and waits for you.

## What to do next

- Check your [sending domain](/docs/sending-domain/) before the first real send.
- Put the signup page on your website, see [Archive and signup page](/docs/archive-and-signup-page/).
- Connect your own AI to help with drafts, see [Use with your AI](/docs/use-with-your-ai/).
